Your plain language summary should be suitable for publication on OHTN’s website, and should be no more than 500 words. Please respond to the following items when composing your summary:
- Describe the problem or issue your research attempted to address
- Briefly describe your research project or program.
- Describe significant findings and outcomes (expected and unexpected) of the research conducted. Were the objectives met?
- Describe how community stakeholders were engaged through your research, and in particular, identify levels of engagement throughout the research process – input, process, outcome and evaluation stages. Summarize key successes of your community engagement activities and any relevant challenges.
- Demonstrate how your research is relevant to the mission of the OHTN, and in particular, the expected impact(s) of your project on the HIV epidemic in Ontario, and on the health and well-being of people living with HIV and/or people or communities at risk.
- Include links to papers, reports, presentations or other resources available on-line that are a direct result of your research (if applicable).
- Describe next steps (if any) for research in this area.
- Describe the implications of your findings and outcomes for HIV policy and practice.
