What support does the EBPU provide for program development?
The EBPU assists ASOs and other AIDS Bureau and PHAC funded programs in developing and piloting evidence based interventions. We also assist with program implementation, the development of guidelines and manuals and the coordination of cross-organizational projects.
How does it work?
We:
- Support AIDS Bureau mandated projects, such as program reviews, environmental scans or the development of guidelines and manuals
- Partner with frontline agencies to pilot interventions that can maximize the impact of the provincial HIV response strategy
- Assist agencies and programs participating in research projects so that they can develop the tools and processes necessary to collect and analyze data.
