In May of 2020, the OHTN Cohort Study (OCS), added specific questions to the annual cohort questionnaire to assess the impacts of the COVD-19 pandemic on people living with HIV in Ontario. The OCS team examined the patterns of COVID, testing, diagnosis, exposure and vaccination among participants. Additionally, the team looked at the broader impacts of COVID-19 on employment, access to health services, and mental health outcomes. These analyses may provide an understanding of  the intersection of two pandemics on the health and well being of Ontarians. Dr. Abigail Kroch is the Director of Data and Applied Science Impact at the OHTN, assistant professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at University of Toronto and adjunct scientist at Public Health Ontario.
