Jordan Lewis has worked for over 20 years as the social worker in the HIV team at St. Michaels Hospital. He has experience working with marginalized populations, including those living with mental health, palliative care, addictions, HIV and bleeding disorder related concerns. He has taught at university and college, teaches annual workshops and has lectured at national conferences. He has recently traveled across Canada providing education on HIV and Depression. Jordan has won the Education Excellence Award at St. Michaels Hospital twice in the last seven years.
Dr. Sarah Lyons, CPsych, is a Clinical and Health Psychologist who has been working in private practice for 15 years. Sarah is an integrative psychologist with training in cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, Schema therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapies, as well as a background in mindfulness-based stress reduction and mindfulness meditation. She has co-facilitated groups focused on individuals recovering from addiction and depression. Sarah has received additional training at Toronto East General Hospital and North York General Hospital, in Outpatient Psychology and Inpatient Psychiatric settings. Sarah spent 3 years at St. Michaels Hospital as a cognitive behavioural therapist working with individuals with HIV. Furthermore, she has extensive experience with psychological assessments, as well as psycho-vocational assessments.
