Glad Day Bookshop, 499 Church St., Toronto

The OHTN Research Lounge is a community event that seeks to engage community members, community workers, students and researchers in ongoing open dialogue around current research and issues in HIV treatment, care, policy and research (methods and results). The conversation starts with one great article that we all read together! We strongly encourage everyone to read the selected article before we meet. All voices count!

On Wednesday, February 15, we will discuss the gaps in treatment access for people living with HIV. The article selected is Use of Compassionate Supply of Antiretroviral Drugs to Avoid Treatment Interruptions or Delayed Treatment Initiation among HIV-Positive Patients Living in Ontario: A Retrospective Review.

Our stupendous facilitator will be Dr. Beth Rachlis who studies the HIV engagement and care cascade and how people remain involved in care or are lost to care at each stage of the cascade.

Light snacks will be provided. If you have any questions about the event, please email Eugene Nam.
