The OHTN is inviting applications for new Board Directors

The Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) is inviting interested applicants to join our Board of Directors

The OHTN Board of Directors is a diverse and dynamic set of leaders with a shared vision to use our work to improve the health and lives of people living with HIV in Ontario. We are seeking engaged and thoughtful leaders to join our non-profit Board of Directors to help us provide governance and strategic guidance to an organization that plays a fundamental role for the HIV sector in Ontario. The OHTN brings together people and expertise, fosters leadership in research and practice, and champions evidence‐based policy and practices that will strengthen health systems and services. When we do our job well, we can support the sector to reduce new HIV transmissions and improve the lives of people living with or vulnerable to HIV.

About our Board of Directors

The OHTN Board of Directors is a committed governance team focused on the strategic vision of the organization. We are looking for engaged board members to help move us forward.

To be eligible, you must:

  • live or work in Ontario
  • be able to attend in-person and virtual Board meetings and committee meetings throughout the year.

We welcome people from all backgrounds to apply, and we are seeking specific experience in legal affairs or human resources to strengthen our work and support our community.

The OHTN is a site of deep diversity of thought, and we have a firm commitment to inclusive engagement at all levels, including challenging anti-Black racism and anti-indigenous racism, and ensuring the greater involvement and meaningful engagement of people living with HIV/AIDS (GIPA/MIPA) in all that we do. Our Board of Directors is comprised of leaders who are committed to deepening of our understanding and knowledge of our diverse network.

Inclusion and accessibility

We encourage applications from people living with HIV, and members of groups that have been marginalized on any grounds listed under the Ontario Human Rights code be it age, race, ethnic origin, disability, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, religion, and marital or family status. We’re also committed to fostering inclusion and accessibility. If you require accommodation during the hiring process, we’ll work with you to meet your needs.

If you are interested in joining our Board of Directors, please submit a Letter of Interest and CV/resume to [email protected] before June 30, 2025 for consideration ahead of the OHTN’s Annual General Meeting on September 12, 2025.
