February 7, 2018 is the 4th annual African, Caribbean and Black Canadian HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

February is Black History Month. The Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) acknowledges the struggles for equity by African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) Canadians, and recognizes their contributions to the development of Canada.

February 7, 2018 is the fourth annual African, Caribbean and Black Canadian HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The OHTN remains committed to working with ACB communities to strengthen their response to HIV, and to support research and knowledge dissemination activities to address the social and structural determinants of health.

Various events are planned across Canada (including the MSAFIRI Forum in Toronto). For more information about African, Caribbean and Black Canadian HIV/AIDS Awareness day, please visit blackHIVday.ca.
