This 1st edition of theworkshop will explore the transformative potential of LA/ER drug deliveryin infectious disease management, with a focus on recent breakthroughs in HIVprevention and treatment.
Attendees will discuss the clinical application of thesetherapies in populations with historically low adherence, including pediatricpatients, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and individuals experiencinghomelessness.
By sharing knowledge on trial design, safety, efficacy,and implementation strategies, this 2-day hybrid workshop willcontribute to the global effort to improve health outcomes, extending thebenefits of these therapies beyond HIV to other infectious diseases liketuberculosis, malaria, and viral hepatitis.
