Eligibility Requirements: Mental health programs are funded by IRCC and clients are not required to have insurance. To attend the main programs funded by IRCC (HOPES - combination or mental health and employment and LIGHTS - mental health and language training), clients need to be 18 years or older, and prove their Permanent Resident status. Volunteers (international trained mental health professionals and placement students) that can provide the services to other newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and non-status. These services depend on the students and volunteers available.
