Please feel free to forward this to colleagues who may be interested in this course. \u00a0<br>This course includes approximately four \u2013 five hours of online instruction delivered over four weeks. It includes weekly self-directed modules and collaborative discussion boards facilitated by a CATIE educator, and an interactive online meeting with our educators and fellow students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weekly Topic Breakdown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week 1:\u00a0<\/strong>How HIV treatment works, the health and prevention benefits of HIV treatment, and how HIV treatment is monitored<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Week 2:\u00a0<\/strong>What taking HIV treatment entails, HIV treatment drug regimens, the importance of adhering to HIV treatment and its relation to HIV drug resistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Week 3<\/strong>: How to support people starting, switching and staying on HIV treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 1pm-3pm EDT:\u00a0<\/strong>Interactive online meeting \u2013 HIV Treatment:\u00a0Implications for frontline service providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you a service provider who works with people who are living with HIV? Then this course is for you. We ask that those attending this course have a basic understanding of HIV. You&#8217;re welcome to learn more in advance of HIV Treatment through this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ontariohivtreatmentnetwork.cmail19.com\/t\/i-i-zjuurid-l-i\/\"><strong>HIV Basics Course<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More information about this training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>HIV Treatment<\/em>\u00a0includes three online modules that include\u00a0a variety of learning activities such as e-learning units, readings, discussion board assignments, videos and webinars. You can work through each weekly online module at your own pace. Each module takes up to one hour\u00a0to complete.
