    This\u00a0webinar\u00a0explores the evolving landscape of HIV prevention in Ontario\u00a0and\u00a0equips\u00a0\u00a0clinicians\u00a0with practical strategies to deliver evidence-informed, patient-centred\u00a0care. Drawing on current epidemiologic trends, the 2025 Canadian HIV PEP &\u00a0PrEP\u00a0Guidelines, and real-world clinical experience, the Dr. O\u2019Byrne will discuss HIV risk assessment, oral and long-acting injectable\u00a0PrEP, individualized\u00a0PrEP\u00a0care planning, and Ontario-specific resources that support equitable access to prevention services.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    By the end of this session, clinicians will be able to:<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    1. Contextualize Prevention Strategies: Analyze recent Ontario epidemiologic trends to\u00a0identify\u00a0priority populations and regional hotspots requiring intensified HIV prevention efforts.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    2. Apply Clinical Evidence for Decision-Making: Assess HIV acquisition risk using a patient-centred\u00a0approach that considers clinical history, epidemiologic context, and the 2025 Canadian HIV PEP &\u00a0PrEP\u00a0Guidelines recommendations for both oral and long-acting injectable modalities.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    3. Implement Individualized Care Plans: Develop comprehensive\u00a0PrEP\u00a0care plans that support adherence, safety, and long-term retention while integrating\u00a0PrEP\u00a0into holistic sexual health and preventive care.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    4. Navigate Access Resources: Coordinate patient referrals to\u00a0appropriate Ontario-specific\u00a0resources and financial programs (e.g.\u00a0GetaKit,\u00a0PrEPStart, or regional clinic finders) to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0equitable, low-barrier access.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
