| Progress in Ending the US Travel Ban for People with HIV |

People with HIV who wanted to attend the First North American Housing and HIV Research Summit in Washington, DC in June 2009, had to contend with the US travel ban. The restrictions provided an opportunity for event organizers to meet with senior US officials to discuss their impact on delegates and presenters. Since then, progress has been made. For more information, see the travel update. |
