What is the HIV Outpatient Clinic Network?

The HIV Outpatient Clinic Network (OCN) is a coalition of 18 HIV outpatient clinics across Ontario. Representatives include physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and clinical coordinators. The Network formed out of a desire amongst Ontario’s HIV outpatient clinics to ensure high-quality and sustained care for people living with HIV.

What does the coalition do?

For the past 15 years, the OCN has met to collaborate, share information, best practices, and engage in knowledge-transfer and exchange activities.  These activities include quarterly meetings in Toronto, participation in workshops or educational sessions, coordination of advocacy efforts, and participation in an annual professional development Education Day.

The 2015 Education Day was held on February 27th for 112 participants. You can access our speaker’s slides by clicking the hyperlinks below.
