OHTN at CAHR 2015

Like many other organizations, the OHTN is looking forward to CAHR 2015. Our scientists and researchers will be presenting on a wide range of topics in the social sciences, the clinical sciences, and epidemiology and public health. Join us for presentations on:

  • Pap cytology testing among HIV-positive and HIV-negative women (Ann Burchell)
  • Challenges to providing HIV risk and prevention information online to gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (Mark Gilbert)
  • The impact of food insecurity on health outcomes among people living with HIV (Jason Globerman)
  • A community-based research approach to exploring the lived experiences of HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (Francisco Ibanez-Carrasco)
  • The impact of social determinants of health and substance use on HIV viral suppression (Sandra Gardner)

We will also be hosting a full day CAHR ancillary event on Program Science in Practice. Join us on April 30th (from 9am to 4pm) for an introductory symposium that will address the basic foundations of program science, what program science looks like in practice, and how program science can help create more effective interventions.
