Conference Abstract-Writing Workshop

Preparing Effective Conference Abstracts, Poster and Oral Presentations: An Introductory workshop

Increasingly, community members and researchers are building collaborative efforts to address the social determinants of health in HIV-affected communities.  With this shift, community members are more often using research conferences to showcase their innovative work.

Preparing for conference presentations remains a challenge for many individuals on the frontlines, as well as for new and emerging researchers in the HIV field. Abstract review processes are highly competitive and demand high-quality submissions.  Once accepted, the success of a presentation rests upon the presenter’s presentation skills.  This introductory-level workshop is intended for individuals wishing to enhance their capacities for writing conference abstracts and presenting findings in an effective manner.
