OHTN Call for Applications: IDRP Fall 2009

The Fall 2009 Competition is underway for the OHTN Investigator Driven Research Program (IDRP), including Research Operating Grants, Major Equipment Grants, Scholarship Awards, Career Scientist Awards, Junior Investigator Development Awards, and Career Investigator Transition Awards. Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network: Job Posting - Community-Based Research Facilitators

The deadline to apply for the position of Community-Based Research Facilitator for the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network is Friday, October 16, 2009. The two 6-month contract positions based in Nova Scotia and British Columbia will involve supporting and applying a strategic approach to building capacity in community-based research in the Aboriginal community to address HIV/AIDS in the Aboriginal population. Ontario AIDS Network 14th Annual Honour Roll Banquet and Award Ceremony

The Ontario AIDS Network (OAN) will host its 14th Annual Honour Roll Banquet and Award Ceremony on Saturday, November 14, 2009, in Toronto. The evening dinner event will pay tribute to the 2009 OAN Honour Roll Recipients who have demonstrated excellence in community partnership building, leadership, and care in the Ontario HIV/AIDS sector. The 2009 Honour Roll Recipients are:

  • Carol Major and Winston Husbands– Community Partner Awards
  • John Maxwell – Person with HIV/AIDS Leadership Award
  • Julie Phillips – Caregivers Award

New Pfizer/AMMI Canada Post Residency Fellowship: Call for Applications
