18th International Congress on Palliative Care: Call for Abstracts due May 31

You are invited to attend the 18th International Congress on Palliative Care, to be held October 5-8, 2010 at the Palais des Congrès in Montréal, Canada. Presented by the Palliative Care Division of the Departments of Medicine and Oncology of McGill University, this biennial Congress has grown to become one of the premier international events in palliative care. Abstracts on all aspects of end-of-life and palliative care are welcome. The deadline to submit a poster abstract is May 31, 2010. Ontario HIV & Substance Use Training Program: Provincial Trainer applications due June 8

The Ontario HIV and Substance Use Training Program (OHSUTP), operated by Fife House, is seeking a Provincial Trainer to assist with the training of substance use, mental health, and allied service providers, and to coordinate, facilitate and deliver training and other communication strategies. CIHR Survey on Research Priorities for Co-Morbidities and HIV/AIDS due June 18

The HIV/AIDS Research Initiative of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is seeking input from stakeholders across the country to help identify research priorities in the area of HIV/AIDS and comorbidities. Persons living with HIV/AIDS, clinicians, researchers and others interested in the issues of comorbidities and HIV/AIDS are invited to complete a short, confidential survey.
