Four Days Left to Submit an Abstract for the CAHR 2010 Conference

The 19th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research will be held at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK from May 13 to 16, 2010.  Visit the CAHR 2010 website to submit an abstract by the deadline of Monday, January 18, 2010, 5 pm (Pacific Standard Time). Abstracts may be submitted in either French or English.

CAHR is proud to announce that Dr. Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, co-winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize of Medicine or Physiology, will give the Mark A. Wainberg Lecture to open the conference. For news on the conference program, registration and accommodation, visit the CAHR 2010 website.

Call for Applications: ACHIEVE Research Partnership Post-Doctoral Fellowships

The ACHIEVE Research Partnership, a Canadian Institutes for Health Research Strategic Training Program, is seeking qualified PhD and/or MD applicants for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship that builds capacity related to interventions research for marginalized populations. The fellowship aims to equip new researchers with the competencies necessary for closing the gap between measuring health inequities and reducing them and focuses on solutions-oriented research methods and community engagement and partnerships.
