The University of British Columbia’s Centre for Health Services and Policy Research (CHSPR) will hold its 22nd Annual Health Policy Conference, Lost in Knowledge Translation? Innovations in Health Human Resources Policy, in Vancouver on March 30-31, 2010. The conference will host an international panel of experts to share insights and expertise on health human resource policy, including on training, organization, and regulation.

The Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR) will hold its 19th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research in Saskatoon from May 13 to 16, 2010, to focus attention on New Challenges, New Commitments – the changing face of HIV/AIDS in Canada. This conference will pay special attention to the spread of infection in the Aboriginal community across the Prairies.

The International AIDS Society and its partners are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 18th International AIDS Conference, Rights Here, Right Now, on July 18 to 23, 2010, in Vienna, Austria. AIDS 2010 will underscore the protection of human rights as a fundamental prerequisite to an effective response to HIV.

The Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre is inviting researchers, health policy makers and managers, health professionals and patients to join their 8th Annual Symposium on “Evidence in Uncertain Times: Meeting the Challenge” to be held on May 19-20, 2010, in Ottawa. This year’s Symposium will focus on health planning, shared evidence and decision making, advancing methodologies, and communicating research findings.
