Researchers, educators, health professionals, service providers, and community members meet to examine the emerging issues of aging, HIV and other complex chronic illnesses. Presenters will include Ron Rosenes, Dr. Julian Falutz, Dr. Stephen Karpiak and Dr. Gordon Arbess. 

Grand Challenges Canada is tapping into the creativity, knowledge and skills of Canadian scientists, entrepreneurs and social innovators to solve some of the most persistent health challenges in the developing world through Integrated Innovation. The Canadian Rising Stars in Global Health program is a call to action for Canadians to make their contribution to global health. $100,000 in seed grants is available for up to 20 successful proposals. Additional scale-up grants of up to $1 million for innovative and successful proposals are also available.
