WORLD AIDS DAY - DECEMBER 1ST

Do you have your red ribbon?

December 1st is World AIDS Day and in 2011 we are reminded that the epidemic has spanned a full three decades. We have seen many changes over the last thirty years, and while we have much to be hopeful for, we must not forget that there is still a great deal of work to do.

Learn about World AIDS Day and find events in your area at the OHTN's World AIDS Day webpage.

OHTN'S 2011 RESEARCH CONFERENCE CONTENT NOW ONLINE!

You can find everything that was presented at RC2011 here

The OHTN 14th Annual Research Conference showcased new and emerging HIV/AIDS research findings in basic and clinical science, epidemiology, socio-behavioural, prevention, intervention and community-based research and wrapped November 15.

This year we undertook an exciting new endeavour: all the conference plenary sessions were webcast! So if you couldn't make it to the Conference or would like to re-watch or re-read anything you saw, it's all available Online in a convenient, interactive format. You'll find all the plenary presentations, posters, oral sessions and summaries of key stats and figures.

VIDEO INTERVIEWS FROM POSITIVE LITE

From the OHTN's RC2011 and NAHC

The OHTN has partnered with Positive Lite to conduct short interviews with local and international experts to produce brief videos full of HIV/AIDS knowledge. Through this partnership we aim to make the most recent research data and information available to the community.

Watch an interview with Timothy Brown (cured of HIV) and Matt Sharp (cure activist) with Brian Finch, here.

Learn more about housing and health with Brandon Marshall and Bob Leahy at NAHC, here.

We will be releasing the videos gradually over the next two months, so don't miss out!

POSITIVE SPACES HEALTHY PLACES

Help us achieve our goals... spread the word

Positive Spaces Healthy Places is recruiting people in Ontario who have tested HIV-negative in the past year. The results from HIV-negative participants will be compared to our established group of 600 people with HIV/AIDS.
