Interview with Sharon Walmsley

"It's not about swallowing the pills."

While more than half the people in the world living with HIV are women,
Sharon Walmsley says they are often under-represented in research.

Women, Dr. Walmsley states, face different issues than men in dealing with HIV and need to be more widely represented in HIV studies. Dr. Walmsley was a presenter at the 2010 OHTN Research Conference in Toronto, Ontario.

The OHTN partnered with Positive Lite to ensure the most recent HIV research data is available to the community. In each online video, local or international experts talk about their work in easy-to-understand language.
