North American Housing and HIV/AIDS Research Summit: Early Bird Registration before April 23!

The National AIDS Housing Coalition and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, will convene the fifth Housing and HIV/AIDS Research Summit in Toronto from June 2 to 4, 2010. The 2010 Summit – Evidence into Action: Housing is HIV Prevention and Care—will bring together researchers, policy experts, and consumers and providers of HIV/AIDS housing from across North America to present new research and discuss evidence-based policy and practice that targets housing as a key social determinant of HIV risk and health outcomes. HIV and Herpes: CIHR Café Scientifique on April 27

The Immunodeficiency Clinic at University Health Network will host a CIHR Café Scientifique on HIV/AIDS and Herpes on April 27, 2010. This Café will discuss new research on herpes and HIV, why herpes may be more than just a pain in the pants, and how to discuss sensitive issues like HIV and herpes with your sexual partners.
