POSITIVE SPACES HEALTHY PLACES

Help us achieve our goals... spread the word

Positive Spaces Healthy Places is recruiting people in Ontario who have tested HIV-negative in the past year. The results from HIV-negative participants will be compared to our established group of 600 people with HIV/AIDS. The HIV-negative comparison group will help provide more accurate estimates of the associations between housing stability, health and health related quality of life. Join now and spread the word.

OHTN RAPID RESPONSE

Criminalization of HIV exposure or transmission:

Stakeholder views and beliefs and effects on behaviour

The July 2011 Rapid Response summarizes the available research evidence from high-income countries to inform the following two questions:
  1. What are the knowledge/understanding, attitudes, opinions and beliefs of people living with HIV/AIDS, service providers and other affected community members in relation to laws that criminalize HIV exposure or transmission?
  2. What are the effects of laws that criminalize HIV exposure or transmission on the behaviour of people living with HIV/AIDS, service providers and other affected community members?

UNIVERSITIES WITHOUT WALLS

Call for HIV Research Field Mentors

Universities Without Walls (UWW) is looking for HIV research allies. Every year, UWW matches a limited number of exceptional academic and community fellows with placements in community, policy or academic HIV research environments. If you have opportunities available between September 2011 and May 2012, UWW would love to hear from you. Tasks, roles, and timelines are negotiable.
