E-Health Initiatives
The purpose of our Information Technology and eHealth program is to support effective and innovative use of technology to better:
- educate and support health care providers
- enable greater consumer knowledge
- facilitate HIV policy and practice
Our e-Health initiatives support:
An interactive mapping system that provides access to up-to-date information about HIV-related services in Ontario
An educational
series for health care professionals and service providers
A database for AIDS Service Organizations to manage client level activities
A web-based tool that helps AIDS Service Organization report on program level activities
A community-governed, multi-site research study that collects clinical and socio-behavioural information voluntarily from people with HIV across Ontario
A weekly HIV educational seminar for health care providers
