Knowledge Exchange Strategy
Our
Knowledge Exchange Strategy helps the research we fund and the knowledge we generate:
- Reach its intended audience
- Influence policy and practice
- Improve the health and quality of life of people with HIV
The strategy is based on the following principles:
- Knowledge exchange is about people. It is about improving policy and practice through stronger partnerships among:
- People with HIV
- Researchers
- Community groups
- Policy makers
- Service providers
- Knowledge products (like reports, workshops, policy papers) support the people who drive change and are most effective when they are:
- Relevant to their audience
- Delivered by the right messenger
- Presented using the best venue or format
- Knowledge exchange is a culture, not an activity. It is a collaborative, team-based approach that supports evidence-based practice andpractice-based evidence.
