Funding for Master's and PhD Students

The OHTN offers the following salary awards and operating grants to support HIV-related training and research activities of Ontario-based Master's and PhD Students.


Universities Without Walls Fellowship

For graduate students in the arts and humanities, soial sciences, health sciences, and helping professions (such as social work and counselling) whose studies focus on the HIV epidemic.

CIHR Canadian Observational Cohort (CANOC) Collaboration Trainee Grant and Award

For Masters, PhD, Postdoctoral, or clinician scientist trainees interested in conducting policy-relevant interdisciplinary research in HIV therapeutics and population and public health.

OHTN Applied HIV Research Chair

The Chair award includes financial support for mentees (Master, PhD, Postdocs, and community members). Students must be affiliated with a Chair applicant to apply.
