Board Directed Funds


Overview

Each year, the OHTN Board of Directors set aside funds that it may use to support initiatives related to urgent or emerging HIV-related issues in Ontario. Requests for support may originate from any of the OHTN's stakeholder groups.

Who Is Eligible?
OHTN's Stakeholder Groups.

Submissions must come to the Board through a Board member. The designated Board member must support the request, agree to present the request to the Board at a scheduled Board meeting and be prepared to answer questions regarding the request.

When is the Deadline?
Open call.

Applicants must apply 3 to 6 weeks prior to an OHTN Board of Directors' meeting. Applicants will be notified of the board's decision two weeks after the OHTN Board of Directors' meeting.

How much is the Award?
  • The Board will determine the amount(s) and conditions of funding on a case-by-case basis.


What kind of initiatives do you fund?
Initiatives related to urgent or emerging HIV-related issues in Ontario.

Who reviews my application?
The application is reviewed by Ad Hoc peer reviewers.  The final decision is made by the OHTN Board of Directors.


When do I find out if I'm successful?
Two weeks after an OHTN Board of Directors meeting.
